What we offer
Three services, shaped around how community finances actually work
Each service addresses a specific part of community accounting — and many organizations find that two or three together give them everything they need.
Back to homeHow to think about these services
Community finances tend to have three distinct layers: the day-to-day recording of what comes in and goes out; the careful separation of funds that have been given for specific purposes; and the annual process of presenting a clear account to members and any relevant authority.
Each of our services addresses one of these layers. Some organizations begin with one and add others as they grow. Others come to us needing all three at once. There is no required package — you take what is useful.
Service 01
Donation & Giving Bookkeeping
Careful recording of donations and regular giving, tracked so leaders and members can see how funds come in and how they are used. Suited to community organizations that value openness and want dependable, kindly kept records.
- Monthly recording of all giving and income
- Categorization by fund or giving type
- Clear monthly summary for your treasurer
- Records kept in a format that transfers cleanly at handover
Service 02
Restricted Fund Tracking
Clear tracking of restricted gifts and designated funds, kept correctly so each gift is used as intended. Designed for organizations managing several funds that want to honour every donor's wishes faithfully.
- Separate account maintained for each restricted fund
- Running balance tracked for each designated purpose
- Expenditure from restricted funds recorded against donor intent
- Fund summaries included in monthly reporting
Service 03
Annual Accounts & Member Reporting
Preparation of year-end accounts and clear reporting for members and any regulator, presented in plain language for an open meeting. We work patiently with volunteer treasurers and committees throughout.
- Full year-end accounts prepared and reviewed with treasurer
- Plain-language member summary for open meeting presentation
- Formatted for any regulatory submission required
- Support for questions from members or committee at the meeting
